Captain Marvel hears the cry of a child in distress in a playground. She arrives in time to rescue the child from falling off some monkey bars. The child morphs into the villain Loki who has come to steal a magical gem off Captain Marvel. With the help of a child named Nina the gem is secured and Captain Marvel defeats Loki.
