Summary: Little Chick hopped out of bed one bright, sunny morning. "Let's play!" he chirped... But his mother has to keep her eggs safe and warm, so Little Chick hops into the field to find new friends to play with. He runs with the geese, jumps with the horse, and rolls in the dirt with the pig. At the end of the day, when Little Chick goes home to show his mother this new hopping-running-rolling-skipping game, there's a surprise waiting for him! (Back cover)
