Tom Sawyer is the cleverest of characters, constantly outwitting those around him. The there is Huckleberry Finn, the envy of the town's schoolchildren because he has the rare gift of complete freedom, never attending school or answering to anyone but himself. Ater Tom and Huck witness a murder, they find themselves on a series of adventures that lead them to some seriously frightening situations.
